LONDON / UK
Chris Cannon uses personal photography to influence his digital illustrations. His first series, Reflections, was influenced by his native Scotland and points of interest from places he had visited; from personal achievements to locations that held special memories.
Born in Glasgow, and now working and living in London as a digital designer, Chris has recently exhibited in his local area and is always being inspired by photography to reimagine his personal experiences. His illustrative process consists of gradually stripping back and reducing his photographs to simple colours, shapes and form to reflect the essence of the memory and experience. The hope being, that when looking at these illustrations every person can weave their own memory through the simplified version of, what was, his reality.
